Claudia Maldonado, MA is an Early Childhood Specialist, Independent Consultant, Award-Winning Author, and the Founder of Cachi’s Early Education Corner, a nonprofit organization dedicated to Family Child Care Centers (FCC).
With over 22 years of experience in the field of early childhood education, Claudia is a passionate advocate for the power of storytelling, the importance of play, and the use of developmentally appropriate practices in early learning settings.
She has served in a variety of roles within the early childhood education workforce, including parent volunteer, assistant, lead teacher, ECE specialist, manager, and program director.
Her picture books are multicultural, diverse, inclusive, and available in bilingual and trilingual editions. She believes in exposing children to multiple languages and cultures to foster understanding, connection, and appreciation of diversity from an early age.
Claudia has traveled to El Salvador to spread the word about the importance of early childhood education by providing trainings, think aloud sessions and media appearances.
